About Oscar De La Rosa
Oscar De La Rosa is the founding partner of De La Rosa Law, P.A., a Miami-based firm that represents clients nationwide. He built the firm on a simple belief: the people who most need a lawyer — workers hurt on the job, families navigating the immigration system, and individuals harmed by someone else's negligence — deserve an attorney who treats their case as personally as they do. As a bilingual advocate fluent in English and Spanish, Oscar makes sure clients understand every step of their case in the language they are most comfortable speaking.
Admitted to The Florida Bar on October 17, 2019 (Bar No. 1019585), Oscar is a member in good standing with no public discipline. He is active in the Bar's Young Lawyers Division, the section that supports the next generation of Florida attorneys. He earned his law degree at St. Thomas University College of Law in Miami Gardens, Florida, and is licensed to practice law in the State of Florida.
Rather than confining his practice to a single niche, Oscar focuses his work across the four areas that most directly affect his community. He has structured De La Rosa Law so that clients who walk in with one problem — and often discover they are facing several at once — can be served under one roof, by the same attorney who knows their story. A worker hurt on the job may also have an immigration question; a family pursuing a green card may also have been injured in a crash. By focusing on all four areas personally, Oscar keeps clients from being passed between firms during some of the most stressful moments of their lives.
That client-first approach shapes how the firm operates day to day. Oscar believes people deserve clear answers, honest expectations, and a direct line to the attorney handling their matter — not a case number lost in a high-volume mill. He takes the time to explain the law in plain language, outline the realistic paths forward, and let clients decide what is right for them and their families.
Oscar's Focus Areas
Oscar personally focuses his practice on each of the following areas:
Personal Injury
Oscar represents people injured by the negligence of others — in car, truck, and motorcycle crashes, slip-and-fall and premises incidents, and other accidents. He pursues compensation for medical bills, lost income, pain and suffering, and the long-term costs that injuries can impose on a family, dealing with insurers and at-fault parties so clients can concentrate on recovery. He understands that after a serious accident the pressure to accept a quick, low settlement can be intense, and he works to make sure clients understand the full value of what they have lost before they sign anything.
Mass Tort
When a defective drug, medical device, or dangerous product harms large numbers of people, Oscar represents individuals in mass tort litigation. He helps clients understand whether they qualify, preserves the evidence their claim depends on, and pursues accountability against the corporations responsible. This is one of Oscar's core focus areas — not a referral-out service — and he stands with clients through what can be a long and complex process.
Workers' Compensation
For employees hurt on the job, Oscar handles workers' compensation claims from start to finish — pursuing medical care, wage-replacement benefits, and disability benefits, and challenging wrongful denials and delays. Like mass tort, this is an area Oscar focuses on personally, because injured workers often face the steepest pressure to settle for less than their claim is worth.
Immigration
Oscar also advises on employment and business immigration, including options for professionals, employers, entrepreneurs and investors.
A Bilingual Advocate for the Community
Miami is a city of immigrants, families, and working people, and Oscar built De La Rosa Law to serve it in the language its residents speak at home. Conducting business in both English and Spanish, Oscar removes the language barrier that too often keeps people from asserting their rights. Se Habla Español. Clients work directly with an attorney who listens, explains their options in plain terms, and keeps them informed from the first consultation through resolution.
Recognition
Oscar's commitment to clients has been recognized through honors including selection to the Top 40 Under 40 Trial Lawyers and membership in the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, and De La Rosa Law holds a BBB A+ Accredited rating. He maintains his standing in The Florida Bar and participates in its Young Lawyers Division.
